Guest guest
LaxaWHAT?????? You read it...Laxatea. It's a new tea I found, last month, made by Celestial Seasonings. NO, folks, I'm NOT a distributor. LOL I just like their pretty boxes, so I tend to buy their teas. Anyhow...IF you have problems with constipation, I highly recommend this tea. One cup at night, and I'm moving things in the morning. (Oh God, I can't WAIT to hear what Jack, Larry, and a few other jokesters in the group will have to say about THIS one!) LOL The reason I'm saying this in the RLS group, is that I've noticed, over the years, that my gut can make the difference of whether I sleep through the night. If I have indigestion or am backed up (constipation), I sleep uneasy, waking several times during the night. Sometimes it's very subtle and I can't figure out why I'm waking. BUT...(here's were it fits into this group)....inevitably, while I'm awake, the RLS will kick in. Is it because the body is physically unsettled, so it becomes anxious, causing the RLS? Who knows? But the trick, in my opinion, is to NOT have the unsettled stuff in my gut and to not wake up at all. SO...IF you're interested, go find some Laxatea....or some other herbal laxative tea. The main ingredient is senna...same as in Senekot. It also contains ginger (good for nausea and settling your stomach) and fennel. Other minor ingredients are: hawthorn berries, milk thistle seed, roasted chicory root, etc. The first night I tried it...no results. Then I tried double strengthing it. Yikes!!! It worked!!! Too well. Now I just use one tea bag each night. It's a good tasting tea, too...with Vanilla cinnamon flavor and caffeine free. Just having the warm smooth tasting tea is settling and relaxing, too. You're supposed to use it at night, and it works in 6-12 hours. Hope it helps someone. Okay guys...let's hear the jokes. I'm sure you're going nuts, waiting to lambast me. :-P Jill, 46 Payson, AZ http://www.netzone.com/~gunzel/rls.html
