I always relied on traditional medicine, until rls came

along. But this is not a traditional disorder- it does not

respond satisfactorily to the traditional approach, at

least in my case. My bottom line is, please, whichever

side of the fence you stand on in this particular issue,

continue to share, despite potential disagreements - rls,

not lack of harmony, is my biggest concern! >>

I want to say that I agree thoroughly with ne. I will never understand

why we can't " discuss " these issues without someone getting their panties in

a wad.

We should tell every thing that we do and if someone disagrees, or says "

God, I think that's so foolish! " ....it should not be a big deal. Heated

discussions make things much more interesting, but rudeness is not to be

tolerated. We should be able to tear every treatment apart and examine it

bit by bit. This is how we learn. We all agree that we have the right to

choose. Just because someone disagrees does not mean they are trying to make

anyone stop what they are doing. We all have such a variety of views on

these options. Some are for, some against, some are in the middle.

I am very much for trying many alternative treatments.....also vitamins and

certain researched supplements. I have educated myself extensively in

holistic medicine. Many people use homeopathic remedies.......I would not

touch them with a ten foot pole.......but we still should be able to discuss

the issue without being upset with each other. I am not going to try to

convince you to change your treatment, and I don't expect you to attempt to

convince me to try it.
