Guest guest
Hi June, I posted many times about rls being a neurological disorder and not psychological, that distraction of the mind by concentrating on something else can help, like for chronical pain patients, but that doesn't mean at all that the cause is in your head. Well it is actually, as in central nerve system. If there is a link with depression, it is the disturbance of neurotransmitters, serotonine or dopamine, but these are very different. And that meds like prozac , and many others, can increase the rls symptoms. I had an attack of rls in the dentist chair last wednesday, in the morning 10.am. Never had that before. Also during an EEG investigation. I think your mind can have some influence, on many fysical things, and the other way around, but in this " new age " era, this is much overestimated in my opinion. I hope this answers your question, have a nice day, Marleen, pushed by 53, Holland
