Mimi:

I am with the MDA clinic here in Dallas, Texas, and I have testing done every

year. The doctors there also help me in verifying my disability with the

insurance company (as you have to be under a doctors continued care) and fill

out the necessary paperwork. I only have to go once a year now. I have a

scooter that is 7 years old, and I have received my new scooter yesterday. I

went through an in-network provider with my insurance company and MDA paid their

part and I have paid zero. Yes, I do my part in helping with donations around

Labor Day to help repay. I'll have the old scooter at home and the new one will

already be in my van That way I only have to load and unload one time each

outling. I can't tell you how many times I've fallen with my crutches slipping

on leaves so maybe this will cut down my risks for falling. DB
