Guest guest
Hello everyone, 1) Our CMTUS list is NOT connected to ANY CMT group, organization or agency. Our list is free to join and is for persons with CMTpersons/parents with CMT kids, etc. No one here is an " expert " in any form of CMT. We all simply share what works for us. We have alot of experience living with it. And the more sharing, maybe more of us will glean ideas about how to enhance our own lives. 2) Please keep non-CMT related topics off the CMTUS list. Anything involving CMT, like about our lives, surgery, bracing, weight, walking, websites of disease/disability interest/awareness, etc, and everything else we have talked about is fine. Questions about CMT are also welcome and we hope that our collective experience offers some suggestions that will work for you. A) BUT, this is NOT the place to teach people about " basic " computer acronyms. If you need to do this, please do it privately, I mean off this list. Please do not feel you have to use these acronyms on the CMTUS list. You do not have to write perfect English or spell correctly either. IF you post something with a CMT acronym, like say AFOS, please say what that means (like Ankle Foot Orthotics). This is just for awhile, so our newly registered and international friends will understand. 3) For anyone that is new within the last week, we have a survey going on that will close in a few days. It is about getting together for " fun in the sun " . Now is the time to vote. Go to our site at http://www.onelist.com/CMTUS then click on " surveys " . If a gathering is going to happen, we need to get to work planning it! 4) Bad days - everyone has them. Falling, balance, mood, etc. Share with us about them, but then perhaps also share with us how you cope and get over a bad day. What do you do to stay " positive " even when things aren't so good? 5) Please, do not post attachments, nor send chain letters or other " junk " to the list. Remember our 2 rules: 1) use good manners and 2) keep things positive. 6) For our newly registered friends, we also have a host of CMT " links " . Use the same site as mentioned above and click on " links " . 7) If you have any questions about this CMTUS community or wish to check something out before you post a topc, feel free to email liliwigg@... at any time. Thank you for your cooperation. Gretchen and Creators/CMTUS
