Guest guest
Gretchen, I had an MRI done 6 yrs. ago but what they were looking for was in regards to a herniated disc of which I had.....it was later they did the EMG and said from it they were sure I had CMT which was confirmed by the blood test. I have only had that one MRI. Cathy CSCluv** http://community.webtv.net/cat926/CATHYSCOOLCATCORNER
Guest guest
To the group: I have had several MRI's but each one was done to check about pinched nerves and problems with the dist and vertebrea area. I also had one done on my knee prior to having cartlidge repair. These have shown cysts that were built up in the areas, but nothing was mentioned about what kind of mylan damage there was to my spinal cord. I have not ask the neurogolist what they would do to determine that type of damage. My diagonosis was made from the looks of my feet, the way I walked and then an EMG was done to check what percentage of periphal damage was done to my nerves.
