Everyone is different in how they approach medications, and you will most likely go through a trial & error period before you settle on " the " one. re: anxiety attacks WERE a part of my life even before my RLS kicked in. my anxiety attacks were originating from hormonal imbalances in my teen years. (before anybody takes a crack at that, I am now quasi-balanced, hehehe) I remember the symptoms being exhausting and would last up to 30 minutes: whole body trembling, uncontrollable crying, hyperventilation, massive headaches afterwards.... these symptoms are no where close to what my RLS is like. But that's just me and my personal experience.... To curb the anxiety attacks I was taught bio-feedback, and basic relaxation skills. This is helpful for both anxiety and RLS. I believe anti-depressants may worsen RLS. Perhaps others here who take them may inform you better than I. Hope you are all having a nice spring evening, Ana Casinha, 34 Woodbridge, Ont.
