, if you can't find one, send me your address privately and I " ll mail

some over to you if you'd like. I think they are close to $5 here also,

which is expensive for a pen too, but I'll look. It's a Pilot pen, i looked

since yesterday!

Gretchen, in response to job training! HA! I was a psych major in college

that got out in '76....no jobs paying more than 9K then IF you found one. My

job interview at the time MOST related to psychology was at a prison camp

near the school as a guard. Seriously. And the warden himself took great

pleasure in showing me around, thinking he would scare the prettly little

girl with hamburger blood thawing on the counter, and pictures of their last

escape attempt shooting. The woman after me was at least 3 times my

size...... That was a fun day.....

SOOOOO, I worked at a florist, got accepted at grad school, got married

instead, and 10 years and one son later, had to find a job with flexible

hours so I could be in the school system and home before and after when I got

separated. My job experience at this point was raising english budgerigars

(parakeets) and hybridizing violets.....so I went to work for an

Interiorscape company, taking care of plants in offices... and through the

violets, fell into an opportunity to become an owner of a smaller company

doing the same thing. I have had the business for 10 years. I also do

aquarium set ups and maintenance now, that's a lot of fun!

My son is almost grown, and in a special ed program where some of the kids

have worked with me in the summer and learned a lot of good office behaviors

and work ethics to be successful in their vocational program. He and his

friends light up the work place, and make sure everyone else stays in line

there too! They've gone on to work at one of the wholesale nurseries, grown

their own seedlings and transplanted them, made their own herbal vinegars

with their school program. They all go on to a vocational center next year

after high school, where they may end up with better job interviews and

training than I had!

So I guess I HAVE used the psych background, and social work, but never to

make any money! Martha
