Guest guest
Hi group, I''m responding to some of the queries about the meds we take. I have been taking Klonapin 1 mg for a little over 2 years. I notice that I have a lot of problems with forgetfulness and sometimes confusion in remembering things. Scary. I am also taking Mirapex and Neurontin as well as Tylenol with Codeine 2 tabs at bedtime. I take really small doses of these meds but seemed to notice that some of my symptoms of forgetfulness appear to be worse. Does anyone take these meds and have you noticed any problems with them like this. I have also noticed that even though the Mirapex is an extremely small dose .625 mg. I've noticed in the past 2 weeks that my sleeping has gotten worse again. I've been on it only a little over a month now at first it seemed to really help. The doc gave it to me because he said it would help decrease the amount of leg pain I was experiencing and it has done that. I also notice that with the Neurontin, which I've been on for about 4 months give me headaches. Does anyone else have that problem if they are on this? I have been trying alternative things, i.e., Cal/Mag/Zinc, Valerian Root (2 at bedtime) Vit E (Sharifa, was it you? it seems to help me) Evening Primrose and I have just started Rutin. I'm hoping in time that these will help me enough to be able to come off the prescribed meds. Don't know if that will happen because I am really doing a lot better with these meds as far as my sleep improvement but the other stuff, side effects, I don't know for sure if it's worth it. I hope someone can relate to these issues. It would be nice to know I'm not alone with these. Also, hang in there everyone. Let's keep this group going. I don't know what I would do without it. Talk about depression, I would have major depression without this group. And YES some of our meds definitely cause depression!
