Guest guest
Hi! My name is . I am 38 years old. I am also new to the group and would love to know more about your symptoms. I just had surgery two weeks ago to fuse verbra's in my neck. I had a huge spur and one verbra was about 1/2 closed on my spinal cord. I'm recovering quite well. My family consists of my husband, Ken, three daughters, 10, 12 & 14 and one son almost 2. I have what I would call a mild to moderate case of CMT. >From: jacee17@... >Reply-To: CMTUS (AT) e >To: CMTUS (AT) e >Subject: Re: New here!! >Date: Mon, 3 Jul 2000 03:07:41 EDT > >In a message dated 7/2/2000 11:57:34 PM Pacific Daylight Time, >silly_ho@... writes: > ><< I am 23 years old and my name is . Guest guest
Hi, Gwen ... Welcome to the group ... we are a diversified lot. Each of us is suffering from this disease in various stages and are trying to cope the best we can. I have a cat named Ella, who is my companion ... she thinks the folks in the group are really nice. Why, only yesterday, she said to me ... " You know what ? ... those CMT people really look terrific with those big smiles on their faces! " So, keep smiling, Gwen ... you don't want to disappoint Ella. )
Guest guest
Hi to you also .thank you for the welcome. Tell Ella I do smile a lot.Life is good no matter what and frowning just makes more wrinkles on my 72 yr old face.My toy poodle says arf.He is Pepper and I am Gwen.We enjoy so much.We leave soon in our motorhome with my sweet husband for parts north. He has made the house on wheels great for me.Weight training has made my arms strong so i can pull myself in tho sometimes it hurts the hands --cant have it all but I have most of it including people like you who care about others.CMt makes us aware of them. Its one of our lessons from this . Guest guest
Hi, Gwen ... Please tell Pepper that my Ella says hello. I leave for a houseboat trip on Lake in a week ... Lovely place, not a tree in sight, but the rock formations are spectacular. I work out with weight also. I'm convinced that the weight training is holding the CMT off somewhat ... I'm lucky, in that I can still work my legs. The feet are a different story, however. Hang in there and keep smiling ...
