Guest guest
Dawn, I have had Bursitis, too. In my elbow and shoulder. Both times I thought I had broken them - it was VERY painful. And I had swelling. Both times I was prescribed antibiotics (can't remember which kind) and rest. I also had to sit quiet and keep a hot towel on the affected parts. I had Bursisitis in my 30's. Alot of people here at CMTUS have gone to MDA clinics and had good results. Gretchen
Guest guest
Gretchen, Lamar here, Antibiotics?? Not questioning you but bursitis is inflammatory and not a bacterial infection, though it is possible to have a bacterial infection in the bursus (this is very serious), it is rare. Bursitis is treated with anti-inflammatories. Bursitis/MDA Dawn, I have had Bursitis, too. In my elbow and shoulder. Both times I thought I had broken them - it was VERY painful. And I had swelling.
