Guest guest
To the Group, The question of a connection between Tourrettes and RLS came up a while back. Dr. Levin gave a very clear answer to that - there is no direct connection. Remember that you can have more than one problem and they do not neccessarily have to be interconnected. A lot of people with RLS have Fibromyalgia - but people with Fibro don't sleep well and neither do RLSers. Others have heart problems, MS and much more. The RLS makes things worse because you don't get enough rest. But one does not necessarily cause or is the same as the other. One thing I do recognize is that some people with Tourrettes also have ADD and many of those with ADD have RLS. That is a total different connection. So be careful out there - don't start finding more things to worry about. RLS is enough. Lee, PT Citrus Heights, CA
