RLS I'm still around

Hello All,

Long time no here from! Did any one miss me ? I guess not, but that's

okay, because, like in a marriage, it's for better or for worse!!!!! I see

alot of new e-mail addresses, so I think that's great, kinda. It's good to

know that you have a forum of like symptoms (sp?) and can relate to one

another. This disorder can change one's life dramatically. Here, we all hope

that it's in a positive light. There's too much suffering as it is.

I don't want to upset anyone with my continued life in a living hell, so I

won't get into too much detail-in order to protect the innocent and/or

sensitive ones!.

As Donna in VT can attest to, the weather has been HORRIBLE here in the

New England area. Today is warm, but it's pouring rain. Not good, not good at

all. I don't care what the " experts " say, but the weather does affect RLS

greatly. And yes, I agree that the cold can worsen the rls " sensitivities " as

I have been calling them My Neuro said that it's all sensation and that

wether it's because the wind is blowing or the rain is falling or we're due

for another snow storm, it all goes back to sensation, which as he said is

called, Neuropathic Pain. How's that for a run on sentence! Now in my case, it

was neccessary to add some more meds to my own pharmacy. They are, Phenobarb

and Tegratol.Here is my current status of meds- Neurontin 900mg tid

Klonopin 0.5mg tid

Baclofen 10 mg tid

MS Contin 30mg qid

Tegratol 200mg bid

Phenobarb 60mg prn

That's my ingredients for my cocktail daily-it's enough to make one gag,and

I have!! I wish, I wish, I wish I were a fish..., does any one remember that

one? No, I have not lost my mind, it's just that frustration has set in more

than any of you would care to know~!

Speaking of which, is Eve still with us?, is she doing okay, what about

Dandi?has any one heard from her?

I am saddend by Dr. Levin's decision, but I can understand. I'm going to e-

mail him personnally, because he has helped me alot, as I know that he has

helped others.
