Guest guest
Hi, all, Jill's Mom is home from the hospital now, and Jill is taking care of her there. I don't know if Jill told any of you about the stroke but, in case she didn't, she had a left-sided stroke. Left arm and leg and left vocal cord affected. She is now getting a little bit of use of the left leg, and is able to hobble a few steps. The left arm, however, is not moving at all, except to jerk at night and wake her up. Jill has learned practically all the PT to do at home, in addition to going for outpatient PT three times a week. She's found some wonderful e-mail sites and is getting a LOT of plain, hands-on ideas there. Jill's Mom is not a petite person, but Jill is managing to do all the transferring in and out of the wheelchair to bed, BR, car, shower, etc. She's hanging in there with the RLS. All the extra exertion has worsened it some, but she's found a fun kind of help! She's learned clogging! And when the RLS kicks in, she clogs away and knocks it out! Keep her in your thoughts, won't you? And pray for her Mom's improvement so Jill can get back home again herself! am, AZ ___________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail.
