Probably as a child - was always wiggly and had leg pains. 4. 2 years ago (I knew I had something,just didn't know the name, and neither did any doctor.) 5. I read about it on the computer just a little over 2 years ago and knew that was what I had. Never knew it's name before. 6. Dozens, over the years 7. He only knows what I've taught him. Treatment about a 4 or 5 8. Yes, I mentioned Klonopin, he prescribed it, and along with Ambien and Ultram, it stopped the RLS immediately. 9. Over the years, many, mostly anti-depressants, none worked. After I learned about Klonopin, that is all I have taken. 10. Klonopin and Ultram have. 11. Yes, but I am beginning to get very mild sensations 12. Yes 13. Klonopin (clonazepan) and Ultram for RKS. Ambien for sleep. 14. Klonopin stops the creepy crawlies. Legs 24. Have had accidents, but had RLS before most of them. Head hit the roof of the car on a very hard " bounce " . My neck was stiff for days. Was thrown from a bicycle and landed on head and neck. Have fallen and hit head many times. Had pelvic bone thrown out of place while lifting something heavy. Took 2 years to find an osteopath who put it back in place. Had appendicities when 17, and it seems that the symptoms began to be noticeable about then, though not steady. Have had back pains for years, on and off. 25. Not actual pain much, just severe creepy-crawlies. 26. Never took medication for RLS pain. 27. Don't recall. Was pregnant 4 times, but had RLS before pregnancy, so if I had it during pregnancy, it seemed natural. 28. See 27 30. Used to walk, which helped for awhile. Arthritic knees makes walking painful now. 29. An hour, maybe the rest of the day sometimes, and sometimes not more than 15 or 20 min. Depended on how severe RLS was. 30. Just clonazepan 31. Various medications seem to help lots of people. 32. Not if it doesn't help. I've learned to doctor myself a reasonable amount because doctors can't give much help in 10 minute appointments. 33. With alternative medicine. And will use Tylenol Dbl Strength if the Ambien doesn't put me to sleep or I'm quite uncomfortable or have pain. 34. Yes 35. Most of the time now 36. I don't think so. 37. Probably, if it was not too restrictive. I don't like to cook special foods. 38. God, I hope not!!!! 39. I already do. 40. Lousy. 10 years of RLS almost 24 hours a day brought on sleep deprivation and depression. It has been very hard to work out of depression, when anti-depressants make the RLS worse.
