Hi gang.

I'm posting this as a separate letter from the one I just wrote about

KavaKava and Valerian.

When relating to my daughter in Oregon some of my discomforts and pain I

feel in my legs and in " fat pads " around my knees, she told me she had the

same, and her doctor had told her she had fibromyalgia. I also have pain

sometimes in the large muscles of my thigh. I always thought it was

" sciatica " though I don't have the back pain that I associate with

sciatica. When I am stressed out, I often have the feeling that I'm walking

in a fog and I can't seem to make decisions. I also have pain in my neck at

times. All of this, according to her, indicates that I have not only RLS

(now under control with medication) but I have fibromyalgia. When not

under stress, I seem to function very well. I used to think the " fog " was

caused by my RLS medication, and maybe some of it is. That's one reason I'm

lowering my RLS medication to the absolute minimum I can take and still not

have the symptoms.

According to my daughter, fibromyalgia is like RLS in that neither is

fatal, nor does it affect organs, but it is just causes a lot of pain.

Can someone give me a few URL's that might give me info on fibromyalgia. I

remember seeing them in letters, but since I didn't think I had that,I

didn't bother saving any of them.

Thanks again.
