Guest guest
PS Ron, I had NONE of the " side effects " Kat or Dorothy's post suggested. I forgot one thing, before I started taking it, my Dr. did a complete physical, plus blood/urine/liver tests. And since all were fine, he started me on Neurontin. Neurontin is not an addicting medication, say like Valium or Vicodin is, so the potentialities for addiction are zero. Neurontin does NOT pass through the liver, as many pain medications do. So, no liver problems. Neurontin DOES pass through the kidneys, so, you need to know to drink alot of water with taking it. It is common for people to be wary of newer medications. There IS plenty of info out about it. Your doctor also has information on it. Neurontin may or may not work for you. I do not consider myself a guinea pig for Neurontin. I read everything I could find and networked on several Neurontin groups even before I started taking it. Gretchen
