Guest guest
Hi everyone, My mom developed RLS when she was pregant with me. She was 25. Although, at the time doc's considered this to be a " pregnancy thing " . At age 31, it got so bad and was told either it was in her head or it was " nerves " and was finally prescribed Lorazapam at age 39. Now she is 59 and was diagnosed 2 years ago with Parkinson's. She's still on Lorazapam and it seems to work for her. I am not sure either if the two are connected " medically " , but in my family, this is toooooo close for comfort....considering both can be inherited..... I already have one.... If anyone can find out for sure, let me know.... Ana Casinha, Woodbridge, Ont.
