,

What type of drug or what is the brand name of benzocaine? Benzocaine sure

sounds familiar but help me out! Steriods is new on me; have they set anyone

else's RLS symptoms off or worsened them?

Thanks!

Supposedly the paramedics will call the 800 # and get some info.

But then again, do you really think that most paramedics, much less the

emergency room doc are going to know what Eckbom's Disease it?

Also, steroids could possibly save your live. Are you truly allergic to

steroids?

I think it might be dangerous to put a drug on your bracelet saying you are

" allergic " to it if you are not truly allergic to it because it might just

save your life. I would much prefer to be " saved " to live another day/night

to deal with my RLS than to be dead because they (paramedics/doc) thought I

was allergic to some medicine that could have saved my life. I thought the

real purpose of MedicAlert bracelets was if you are found unconcious and such

so as to " warn " medical professionals of some serious underlying medical

condition and/or true drug allergy.
