Guest guest
Hi Ruth, Great topic. I have a pretty big kitchen, but don't cook much, however, I do have a small little table there and a good sturdy wooden chair. So I do alot of cutting veggies and things sitting, also it fits under the sink, so washing fruit works that way too. I have learned that when I take things out of the oven I have to use both hands, WITH the glove type potholders and FOCUS on what I am doing. From oven to this little " resting " table is close and I can cool food down a bit there. Then, I can also serve from there as well. Using both hands with the gloves works for me, but once and a while I goof and use one hand....of course my dogs " intuit " this act and are on " standby alert " ...and yes, they have had a few real tasty dinners this way with the food on the floor! I am using mostly pots and pans I got at the Dansk stores, they have handles, are no stick, etc. Ruth Warren wrote: > > > > Hi everyone, Ruth warren here. > > Here's a question for you guys I haven't seen addressed before. > My hands have weakened a lot over the last year and I'm losing a lot of > strength in my grip.
