Guest guest
Hi Shula, just read the article you found. And I think it is great so many are able to participate in sports. However, in my own life (just personal opinion here everyone) I found that I was at my own " personal best " in 'competing' academically. There's nothing wrong with my brain and I found over the years it was the best muscle I had.By the time I got to college I was writing my friend's term papers (for a fee!) So something happened along the line where I got really good at speed reading, synthesizing concepts, critical thinking, writing and public speaking. These 'skills' were further developed by many different jobs and a wide circle of friends. The girl in the story who scuba dives I could relate to, as I enjoy swimming/snorkling very much. Although I still think my brain is best and strengthen it everyday. Gretchen
