Hi Connie, you had mentioned in a post a few weeks back something along the

line of the dangers of " chelation treatment " . I am guessing here not quoting.

It caught my eye because my step-dad who has been having these treatments and

just came back a few weeks ago from another round of treatments in Calif.,(he

lives in AZ.), suffered a stroke and is now partially paralyzed on the right

side. I was wondering if you had some info on this or knew where I could find

some that gives both sides of the story. All the literature around their

house just says how miraculous it is. But to strip the body of all it's

minerals does not sound all that healthy or wise to me. Even if they do give

you some supplements after the treatment. I should say that he is an

overweight chain smoking lethargic human being who drinks like a fish. So his

health pretty much was shot to hell anyway. But having read about possible

reactions to Gingko and then with this Chelation stuff, I am wondering if his

treatments could have helped him with his stroke earlier than it had intended

to come. And to look at him you would know it would have eventually. I do

know his medical insurance didn't cover his treatments. Is that because they

are not really recognized by the medical institution here in the US?

Sorry this is way off the topic of RLS but anything ya learn new seems to

help someone else somewhere out there too

Thanks for your time.

Take care, Kristy's little sister....

,... a young 41 in Tucson and warming up here too!
