Indeed I am! I hate to see a worm struggling on a sidewalk, in jeopardy. I

always took pity on them. I picked them up and placed them on soil where they

would be safe! Worms are vital to the good quality of soil, so I figured I

was helping that way, too.

I guess I talked a lot about the quality of life of lesser creatures when our

sons were small. They are both dedicated animal lovers, and one became a

vegetarian as a result.

Some of us CMTers refer to ourselves as Worm-Watchers because we are always

looking down when we walk. I had no idea it was because of my CMT and my

worry about tripping over something, but now it makes sense. If you look down

you see the worms, or perhaps slugs! (I don't rescue them) LOL or sometimes

money. I have found bills sometimes.
