Guest guest
Hello, Bernard......... I have not tried Hydergine for RLS but we used to have it in the house all the time because my husband really thought it helped his Tinnitus. Every once in a while I would take one because I had read in " Life Extension " that it was good for something important....(can't remember now what that was, tho ) It's an interesting theory and I will try to see if I can find anything about it. I wonder if Dr. at Hopkins has looked at this. I will send him your letter. Thank you for the input! Connie
Guest guest
Thanks for this report, . I don't recall many people (if hardly any) ever reporting on using it. Maybe it's my poor memory, and I could probably use some myself! I should ask if she ever prescribes it. Has or does anyone else here use it? How hard was it to get a doctor to prescribe it?--------Jackie In frequent-dose-chelation wrote: I would like to share with you some optimistic facts about Hydergine. I started it some days ago (about 1mg/day) and slowly increased it up to 4,5mg/day in divided doses. This is still far from the 10-20mg that Cutler recommends but enough to report something good. Side effects: A little bit nausea. Other relevant information: A physician told me Hydergine is a very safe drug. Positive effects: Considerable improvement of cognitive faculties. It seems brain fog is not a problem any more. Considerable increase of imagination and dreaming. When my daughter was three (now is 12), I used to tell her invented stories. She loved it. Each time she wanted a story, I just invented one for her. Of course, they were very simple stories (I am far from being Borges!), but for us it was a great pleasure. Later, when she was maybe 7, I didn't have stories for her anymore. At that time I didn't imagine this was just the beginning of deeper cognitive problems and, later, brain fog. My son (which now is 7) never had invented stories from me but only those that I read for him from books, which is not the same thing. Well, three days ago my son asked me something about the wood of his spinning top. Of course, I had no idea where the wood came from but I discovered myself inventing effortlessly a story to explain it. And my daughter and him listened it delighted and asked for more! Don't know for how long Hydergine will work, but I am enjoying each moment. Hope this is useful for someone.
Guest guest
OK, gang, I'm even more confused (and that's SO dangerous lol) -- I thought Hydergine was a prescription drug that would be available here if a doc prescribes it. Was I mistaken? : Donna
