Guest guest
Hi Rose, Jeanie here, first of all I want to praise Dan my massage guy. He isn't into massage for $$$$ but to help people....... Dan mainly works on my legs, hips, & lower stomach. #1. I've learned that if your intestines are in the wrong place it can really mess up your health... He keeps mine in the right place, instead of the one side or up under my rib area. #2. If my upper thighs ache (hurt) then Dan will do pressure points on my inner upper thighs or have me bend my ® knee (while laying down of course) and then he will put pressure pushing it over the front of my left upper thigh. What he is doing is helping release the tension that has built up in the muscles, thus causing me pain. #3. If my legs have been hurting behind the knee area he can do a couple of things. One is to put counter pressure behind the knee. One hand will be pushing up towards the back of the thigh (hand position is on one side of the back of the leg) (2nd hand is on the other part of the back of the leg [side by side]) the other hand will push downward towards the lower leg. What this is doing is releasing the tension that has built up behind the knee. Instead of it being a tight rubberband it becomes flexible once again. #4. For my feet...... He starts at the knee and using his fingertips pushs in and down moving down my leg and over my feet, then he pulls on my toes. Yes, this can hurt, sometimes really really bad.... But, it's worth a minute of pain in comparrison to nightly pain. What this does is of course pushs the blood down your leg helping in circulation and it pushs the tension out of the muscles that I thought I didn't even help out..... Dan has been a miracle find for me. I hope this has answered your ? Rose, Jeanie
