Guest guest
Sorry, couldn't resist the subject line. JACK!!!! Does this thumper of yours look like a Disney rabbit? You hold it by the ears and wack it on your legs???? YOU SICKO!!!!!! *smirk* Okay...seriously. The difference in a Thumper and a regular massager, is that the two rounded knobs on the pad go up and down real fast, rather than going back and forth quickly like most vibrators. If it feels like it's hammering your muscles, it sounds like the same thing. There's also one called an Equalizer, sold at Sharper Image. I tried it, recently. It's VERY VERY similar, although, I THINK I preferred the Thumper. I just received a call, yesterday, from the website company where I ordered mine. It is being put in the mail, tomorrow. (They were waiting to get the new MiniPro2 model.) I KNOW it will help on days when the RLS involves the muscles and knots everything up. I'm not sure it will help when I have the other kind of RLS attack, where it's just that crawly urge to move in my arms and legs. But once the muscles knot up, it's so hard to get relief, so I'm sure this Thumper will help. The price on YOURs is sure great. It's probably a much better way to go, for people who want to try out the concept. If any of you want to try these, I know that tone has the Thumper and Sharper Image has the Equalizer (both are expensive $150-$240) and they leave them out so you can try them in the store. Best wishes to all.... Jill, 46 Payson, AZ http://www.netzone.com/~gunzel/rls.html
