Guest guest
Hi Folks, Seventh day without power!!! We're on a generator now after five days of Nada. Power from the generator is unstable, so this is short. Don't want to hurt the " puter " . Isn't nature wonderful. Hope any of you, or your families affected by this storm are all well. Talk to you again when real power is restored.... in Icy Va.
Guest guest
Hi ! My family and I went through the no power bit for over a week due to an ice storm while we were living on the coast of Maine. No water, no heat, no nothing and we didn't have a generator to keep the pipes from freezing. Misery, misery! You have my compassionate sympathy. Last night we got about 3 inches of snow (not enough to plow and I haven't gone outside to shovel). It's supposed to really chill out later on. Although we're used to frigid weather here in Vermont it still takes a period of adjustment each year to get comfortable with it. So far it's been more like late fall. Cold weather seems to bring on more RLS during the day. Perhaps because I stay in the house more and am not as physically active as during warmer weather. Hope your power comes on soon and that you and yours have a Happy Healthy New Year!! Jeanne and Mr. Biggles in Poultney VT
