Guest guest
Hi Donna: Your symptoms certainly suggest MS and if I were you I would get to a neurologist ASAP If upon having MRI both brain and spinal cord, as well as a positive spinal tap and/or diagnosed optic neuritis, you are eligible for one of the three medications that will probably cut down on the number of relapses you have and possibly nip this one in the bud. Most people swear by Copaxone, so if given a choice, I would go with that one. My doctor is so concerned that the medications will increase my symptoms which are so bad to begin with that he is reluctant to try them on me. However most people on Copaxone complain very little about side effects. Aren't we so furtunate to have both MS and RLS. Actually I would never have found what was causing these horrible " worms " and " bugs " in my legs ifI hadn't just decided to look something up that I'd heard about. God always works overtime with me, most of the time just giving me a pace I could not live without, but also leading me to places that can give me some clues about what's going on. He's aalso given me some of the most personal gifts of his constant presence which I know is rare and I don't take for granted. Don't give up, honey, there are answers for you out there too. Maybe God sent me to RLS especially for you.
