Check out the new poll for the CMTUS group: This poll is to determine who is interested in participating in a July 2001 CMT Rally on Capitol Hill in the USA. This is a Rally to increase public awareness for CMT and for direct research funds from Congress. It is estimated we will need about 1 million people to really make this happen. o I will participate + bring family + friends o I will contact my Congresspersons and get their support o I will help contact and organize the newsmedia o I will help get some celebrity spokespersons o I will help design a CMTUS logo for T-shirts and caps o I will help with ordering and distributing T-shirts o I will help get hotels and motels for people to stay in o I will walk, roll in wheelchair or drive my scooter in rally o I will help design, produce and distribute CMTUS flags to be waved in rally o Rally should last a 2-3 hours o Rally should last 1-2 hours o Rally should be an all day event o I will help get snacks, hot dogs, and drinks for rally goers o I feel this rally should be totally peaceful o I can't be there but will make a $ contribution for the cause o I will volunteer to be a spokeperson for CMTUS to the newsmedia o I would like to be interviewed by the Dateline staff if they agree to film our rally o I feel more planning is needed. We should wait until year 2002 o I will help write CMT information for press packets o I will help assemble and distribute press packets o I will contact my Dr.s and tell them about rally and ask them to participate o I will help coordinate other CMT groups in attending, such as CMTA, CMTINT + MDA o I will help make airline reservations for out of the US participants and get them transportation to our hotel/motel o I will do all I can to help!
