Guest guest
As most of you know, my 10 year old daughter suffers from RLS/PLMD. Recently she has been exhausted to the point of not going to school. This from a girl who loves school. Her work has started to suffer, and I have noticed her being grouchy. (also not like her.) Because it's been getting worse and she has complained that her legs feel weak, I took her to our Dr. yesterday thinking it was probably her legs bothering her. The Dr. took a blood test and lo and behold she is anemic. It makes sense, once I put all the pieces togther, her headaches, lethargy, feeling increasingly weak. The Dr. has prescribed a multi vitamin w/ iron and a diet rich in foods containing iron. I am sharing this with the group as we have talked from time to time about low iron levels sometimes aggrivating RLS. It will be really interesting to see if her legs improve with this new regime. Her level was 12.7, and I was wondering if anyone knows what is " normal " for kids? are you out there? Any clue? Thanks everyone, and I will let you know what happens with her legs over the next few weeks. Hope everyone gets some much need (-.-) zzzzz Debbie , Ca 42 ___________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail.
