Guest guest
Hi Lori. Peggie here. The doctors told me I would be back at work in 3 weeks - for ankle fusion - then after surgery said I couldn't put any weight on my foot for 2 months. They lie big time, what can I say. And pain is worse then any you can imagine. You really should get at least a second opinion if not a third. Once they do this type of surgery - you are stuck for life. I was 26 when I had mine, and have been sorry ever since. But that is me. But do get a second opinion and make sure they tell you exactly what they are going to do! They often change their minds while you are on the operating table...... Not trying to scare you - just be aware !!! Have a good day. I had a badly deformed foot and always twisted my ankle.
