Thanks Marc, I'm afraid we found each other's raw spots, and I do apologize

for going off the deep end on my part! Seeing my name at the beginning of

your post set the wrong tone for me. I am sorry I didn't write something, but

not send it until I'd read other responses (giving me time to rewrite and

rethink).

I think Theresa's explanation is very good. CMT patients are often

frustrated, but so are the medical people, due to lack of information. We all

have ever so much to learn. One of the major issues I face with CMTers all

the time is their frustration from insufficient information. Peggie and

Gretchen had good points, also.

This is a place for questions. It's what keeps the group functioning.

Marc, your post about CMT and alcohol is most interesting. I'm glad you have

firsthand experiences to share with the group. Questions regarding alcohol

and CMT often arise and the more we hear from different people the more we

can learn.
