Guest guest
<< But it is not you with whom my issue lies. Please do not think that. I am sorry if it sounded that way. I guess I'm a bit raw there. Thank you for the additional info, it helps. >> Thanks Marc, I'm afraid we found each other's raw spots, and I do apologize for going off the deep end on my part! Seeing my name at the beginning of your post set the wrong tone for me. I am sorry I didn't write something, but not send it until I'd read other responses (giving me time to rewrite and rethink). I think Theresa's explanation is very good. CMT patients are often frustrated, but so are the medical people, due to lack of information. We all have ever so much to learn. One of the major issues I face with CMTers all the time is their frustration from insufficient information. Peggie and Gretchen had good points, also. This is a place for questions. It's what keeps the group functioning. Marc, your post about CMT and alcohol is most interesting. I'm glad you have firsthand experiences to share with the group. Questions regarding alcohol and CMT often arise and the more we hear from different people the more we can learn. Peace indeed. You are a classy young man. Kat I looked up your word for you, Gretchen. EMG = Electromyography Hope you don't mind.
