FYI - Book for Children with special needs

There is a nice book for young children called " Someone Special, Just Like

You. " Written by Tricia Brown 1982. ISBN 0-8050-0481-5

The book is a collection of photos of young children busy living active

lives, within their abilities. The children may have AFOs or braces, be in a

wheelchair, wearing thick glasses or hearing aids and so forth, but the

emphasis is on what they are doing, not what they can't do, The text is

simple and in very large type.

Libraries have copies. Those of you who have small children or grandchildren

may enjoy sharing it with them.
