Guest guest
Sorry guys, My mind tonight seems to be working in pieces. I can't seem to put 2 words together to make sentence in ONE post. I would like to comment about the connection of RLS & the sciatica. Since the two reared their ugly heads at the same time with my first pregnancy 14 yrs ago, I wouldn't be surprised that the two were somehow connected. I believe I posted once about being told that certain hormones present during pregnancy would aggravate the sciatica. However, I do not have proper hormone names. Perhaps someone out there knows and wouldn't mind sharing. All I wanted back then was drugs, drugs and more drugs to make them both go away. I was in the car enroute to the hospital in full labour and calling them on the phone to get epidural ready. However, the epidural, I believe, made the situation worse for RLS and sciatica after delivery. It is also not a coincidence for me that both continue to be a thorn in my life. One of the reasons why my sciatica was not completely under control after acupuncture treatment was because of lack of night rest, or should I say, quality of sleep and rest. As for the treatment of RLS, I'll try again in November when allergy season is over. In the mean time, I have AtoB Calm to tie me over. :-) Ana Casinha, 34 Woodbridge, Ont.
