Guest guest
I have been reading with interest the comments from Dr. Levin regarding the effects of inflammation on rls and his comment that it seems unlikely rheumatoid arthritis (RA) causes rls. But if inflammation exacerbates rls, then wouldn't RA, an inflammatory disease, have the same effect? I have suffered for the last 13 years from an inflammatory condition that most rheumatologists have been unable to diagnose since it doesn't fit their criteria for any known rheumatic disease. My current rheumatologist believes it is silicone toxicity syndrome as the result of a silicone breast implant. If you believe your news reports, that can't happen because silicone leaking into the body can't cause disease. But that's another story. It's interesting to me that my rls has grown worse with the inflammatory condition. But I'm also 13 years older. in Portland
