amitriptyline & effexor

alisha here,

i was on amitriptyline for a while i started out at 10mg one a day for two

weeks and if i needed more after two weeks i could move to 20 mg and so on i

could only go up to 70 mg. when i got it i was only given 1 perscription and

wouldn't give me any more. the neuro also told me to take a day or two off

of school to get used to the side effects and i took 2 days off. WOW i felt

so strange. i have a really dry month and other effects from taking it and

some time later i decided to stop taking it b/c it wasn't helping me at all.

later i was put on gabapentin(sp?) or also known as neurontin and it didn't

help either for the pain. so now i am on nothing at all and i really really

want some relief but i am unable to get any. i am on effexor for depression

but thats not helping either.
