Tylenol PM

The 'sleep aid' that is in Tylenol PM is simply good old diphenhydramine

(Benadryl), 25 mg. This is an antihistamine, but most antihistamines

make people sleepy, which is why they use it. It (Benadryl) has been on

the market, OTC, for umpteen years. Perhaps you are developing a mild

sensitivity to it after all these years of use.

Tylenol will be OK unless you overdose on it. Prolonged use once or

twice a night won't do it. But maybe you are developing a sensitivity to

the Tylenol. I would recommend taking a rest from the Tylenol PM for a

month or so, then having a go at it again to see...........
