Guest guest
Welcome from Jack in Norfolk, VA In your message I have muscle atrophy in my hands and lower legs and have had reconstructive surgeries for all. I am curious about the surgery for muscle atrophy. I have lost some use of one hand because an enlarged nerve covering (CMT problem) had pinched at my elbow and wrist. This created some numbness, but, the Doctors I had at the time delayed and delayed to the point of atrophy. I then had a nerve transplanted around my funny bone which eliminated the numbness, and restored the mobility of my little two fingers, but, no help with strength. Were you able to regain it with your procedure?
