Guest guest
Dear Steph, I wanted to write to let you know how much I appreciate your posts. You write with such grace and courage, that you have really been a source of inspiration and hope to me. I'm especially hopeful because you are an adult. My son is only 4 years old, and has some symptoms of Aspergers. I can't help him right now, since I don't have custody of him. It's a complicated and tragic story. I have a naturopathic doctor who has given me his word that he will one day cure him, even if he is an adult. I believe him because I have to, just to keep on going. I guess I want to know other adult Aspies can have major improvement, because I absolutely need to have hope for him. Of course, I know love my son just the way he is, and think that he is absolutely adorable. However, this is a recent development. I had him for 2 1/2 years, and knew that he had all the warning signs of a child who would become autistic if vaccinated. So, I didn't vaccinate him, and worked to help his gut heal. His father only cared about hurting me, and knew that putting him in danger would hurt me, so it was worth it to him to hurt my son just to hurt me. Unfortunately, the diagnosis is pretty much in his hands as well, since the diagnostic sheets go to him, and he fills them out in such as way as to avoid a diagnosis, since that would hurt him legally. So, my son gets no treatment or interventions at all If you would ever be willing to talk over the phone, please let me know. You can email me privately if you wish, at marilyn1972@.... Thank you for your inspiration, Marilyn
