>>> My DS7 actually threw up a few times - he said it was mostly just

liquid coming out, and he wasn't all pale like normal with vomiting.

Any thoughts? Was it likely the enymes?

Steph,

I think it is unlikely it was the enzymes, except for one aspect. I

was told something by a fellow that has worked many years in the

supplement industry, spent several years selling enzymes, and several

years working with a specialist in candida. He commented that if

there is candida or bacteria in the stomach or throat area, and you

take something that helps kill this stuff, such as enzymes, it can

cause some throwing up in the beginning. It is like you have die-off

and your body is trying to expel the crud as quick as possible. If

the gut bugs are in the lower intestines and bowel, you can have

diarrhea. In the upper GI tract, it can come out topside.

Now, this is not diagnostic by any means, and you can take it in

light of what else you know. But occassionally someone will have

throwing up or gagging in the very beginning of enzymes or other

pathogen control measures, whereas most of the time this does not

happen (although really creative looking stools come may come out).

You are probably thinking, oh...PUL-EEEEEESE...how much could that

little bit of enzymes do? That's miniscule! I agree. Amazing, isn't

it?! But it has been reported occassionally before. Particularly with

the No-Fenol.

You might again when you have a more substantial meal. And just the

Zyme Prime as you did. Actually, just eating hamburger patties and

applesauce wouldn't settle too well with me with or without enzymes.
