Guest guest
Applegate salami does have dextrose in it and that is illegal so that leaves me with one less lunchbox favorite. Any ideas? So far I have: nut yogurt topped with fruit (I also put some of his powdered supplements in the yogurt and he doesn't notice). cucumbers olives (only the fresh ones because the canned has added iron correct?) fruits SCD muffins & cookies Flatbread with homemade jam (He doesn't care for peanut butter) Turkey hotdogs (Applegate Farms) I was wondering what you Moms put in your child's lunchbox. Thanks! Bivens
Guest guest
I make an almond flatbread and give my son peanut butter sandwiches. On other days he eats Applegate deli Turkey (not the prepack). I buy it by the pound and freeze in lunch size portions. I send in muffins or cookies and fruit as a snack. I have to agree that lunch is the most boring meal during the school year! Gloria SCD since 1/1/
Guest guest
Kelli - sorry just saw your reply, I've never tried with peanut butter, I think it would be denser than the almond flour, ps I use plain seltzer to add height to the bread and its still quite flat.
