Hey group,

Remember me...the one with the with the insurance company known for the most

stall tactics? Well, Debbie faxed them my letter again on Monday and it was

received and it is now in medical review. I even sent them 100 pages of other

documentation...PCP letter, ob letter, letter from me, all medical records

showing my ailments and weights, unabridged diet history, and a short report

on obesity and its costs. They acknowledged receiving them all. I am doing

the happy dance. (My version ... if you don't know ... is the cabbage

patch...hehehe) Just one more step, and I am on the gurney to OR. My attorney

is on standby...won't need him...but just in case. I plan to be one of the

few for June surgery.

I have my packet ready to go. I am just waiting on the approval. Are you a

self pay or do you already have approval? I am willing to self pay, bit only

after battle with the insurance company. I was hoping for the 2nd or the 5th.

That way I could spend the whole week in Durham while Dr R was still in town.

But really, it doesn't matter...gimme a date...any date ... the sooner the

better. I have been researching MGB for 8 months. Seems like an eternity.

Dani, Me too it feels like eternity.. Clinic is on the 6th..i have to wait

for my Son to get out on june 1st. so I can go after that. He was invited to

audition for the symphony on the first I cant miss that. Is he still having

Saturday clinics? If so I could go on the 3rd..oh its scary its finally

getting together..Yes I am a self pay..for now I am still fighting with my

insurance CO. Just in case they give in.
