Guest guest
First of all, Emma thanks for the mail about microbe die off, because it sounds just like Peyton right now!! I just wanted to post this in case it might help someone in the future. I was so concerned about the very increased agression that I had seen in Peyton over the last week or so after starting nystatin. I even called the DAN! and she said stop giving it for now. After not hearing from anyone else with a similar experience I got nervous. I picked up by Autism biomedical book by Baker and Pangborn...and lo and behold right there in the section on SCD it talked about the 5 month regression and that it was mainly in behavior...more stimming, agression etc...I looked at my calendar and we were exactly at the 5 month mark!!! I had read this before and had just forgotten. I hope this helps someone else when they get to the 5 month mark and don't understand... My advice is don't start anything new at 4.5 mos Tammy Mom of Peyton 2.5 ASD (SCD 5 mos)
