Guest guest
Hey NC folks, Can anyone make a personal contact with Fanney and give her hugs and love and let her know we all are supporting her and want to help. I'm really concerned about her but so many of us are so far away and I think she could use some real human contact. Let's all pray for Fanney... she is so dear and has been through so much. Guest guest
I am worried too. I was curious if she ever started any kind of grief counseling, or support group for bereavement? She needs help, YESTERDAY. I think she is really in a crisis situation. I can understand that being on the list and trying to be supportive would be hard for her, but she needs support right now. Does anyone know where she lives? I wonder if there is any kind of local intervention service that could be called. Can you call a crisis center on someone else's behalf? I am truly worried. Grief comes in unpleasant stages that we naturally must go through, but she's having an incredibly difficult time. Perhaps the fact that she is so far away from home might have something to do with it. I pray she finds the strength to get through this. I hope she knows we all love and respect her very much. fg At 10:10 PM 05/17/2000 EDT, you wrote: >Hey NC folks, >Can anyone make a personal contact with Fanney and give her hugs and love and >let her know we all are supporting her and want to help. >I'm really concerned about her but so many of us are so far away and I think >she could use some real human contact. >Let's all pray for Fanney... she is so dear and has been through so much. > >We Love You Fanney > >Jane Kunert >MGB 3/20/00 >250 /216 > >------------------------------------------------------------------------ >Failed tests, classes skipped, forgotten locker combinations. >Remember the good 'ol days >http://click.egroups.com/1/4053/2/_/453517/_/958615849/ >------------------------------------------------------------------------ > >This message is from the Mini-Gastric Bypass Mailing List at Onelist.com >Please visit our web site at http://clos.net >Get the Patient Manual at http://clos.net/get_patient_manual.htm > > >
Guest guest
Hi everyone. I just got off the phone with Fanney (I woke her up) and she is much better. I think that yesterday she hit an all time low. You know how it is when you feel like the heaven is crumbling down on you. The family in Iceland is waiting for the autopsy report, we can't do anything without it, regarding insurance or anything. We just heard that it would be another two months at least, before the autopsy report would be ready and Fanney was asked to call the pathologist and ask if he could hurry it up and he was rude to her and that was enough for Fanney to break down, apparently he does not know the Icelandic saying " you should watch yourself when you are close to a soul " . She is worried about the little girls and everything and being so far away from everyone she feels helpless enough, she doesn't need anyone to make her feel any worse that she does. But as I said she is feeling much better, she is over worked making test for the kids and stuff so she can't go to the support meeting on Saturday but we, yes me too, will be there in June. I'm coming to Raleigh June 22nd and am going back to Iceland June 29th, so Fanney has something to look forward to, I'm bring some Icelandic stuff for her. You may all pray for the family, Fanney and her green card so she can come home even though it would be just for a visit and of course for the autopsy report to be finished as soon as possible. Hugs and kisses from Iceland, I'm so glad to belong to this lists with all those compassionate people. Kveðja, Gudnadottir TM software - Eimskip Email - mgd@... Guest guest
This sounds like something a lawyer could handle with a nice legal letter. And a sympathetic judge helps but.......my real opinion is go to the NEWSPAPER, THEY LOVE HUMAN INTEREST STORIES AND CAN THEY EVER GET THE WHEELS OF JUSTICE GREASED. Just my 2 cents............ Thanks. Sara >> Hi Sara, and everyone! I mailed $2,290.00 on Monday to Iceland for 's family. The rest had still not reached the bank but I felt it was best to send what we had. So, I just kept the account open for another week or so to see if the remainder was received. The family should receive this very soon! I realize this will be only a temporary fix, but I did want to go ahead and mail what we had since it was needed desperately. Maybe this can help a little while the details are being worked out and at least pay the mortgage! Bravo everyone! in Raleigh
