Cilantro and jalepeno are legal. Some chili pwders aren't. Here is a recipe for

" legal " chili

from Marilyn Alm:

Chili Powder

3 tsp Ancho chili powder (from www.penzeys.com)

2 tsp oregano (crushed) (Mexican oregano adds WONDERFUL flavor!)

1 tsp ground cumin

3/4 tsp homemade garlic powder (dry in a dehydrator or slow oven and crush)

Place all chili ingredients in blender or food processor and blend until fully

powdered.

The rosemary is OK but the store bought balsamic vinegar is not. They often have

sugars

that are undisclosed. Here is a recipe fro making your own .

Ingredients

1 cup red wine vinegar

1 1/2 cups sweet grape wine (make sure it's naturally sweet, with no added

sugar, or add

your own SCD-legal sweetener, e.g. honey, to dry SCD-legal wine)

Instructions

1. In a heavy saucepan, combine vinegar and wine.

2. Bring to a boil over high heat; reduce heat and cook until reduced to about

1/2 cup,

approximately 30 minutes.

3. Transfer to jar.

4. Cool and store in refrigerator. Enjoy!
