The only legal ham I've ever found is non cured from a meat market. It's so

yummy though but tastes more like a pork roast than traditional ham. I've seen

some post that they have found salt cured hams with no sugar (one said they

found it at SavALot foods) but I have yet to find one. I think you have to boil

those for an hour or so to get the salt out before you bake.

SCD names what not to have and the rest is pretty much open to choice. It would

not be

possible to have a list beyond what Elaine included from pages 73 to 81 esition

10 of

BTVC.

Are you the same Colleen that was on this list some time ago and then tried

some other

dietery interventions? I do hope that Mason is doing OK and if you are the same

Colleen, I

am so happy that you are back. (and if not, glad to have you here of course).

One thing you could do is either photocopy the pages from BTVC that list the

foods that are and are not allowed, then cut out the allowed foods and tape

them to a new paper and photocopy that...

Or you could print out the Legal/Illegal list from BTVC.info and just use a

yellow highlighter to highlight the allowed foods.

Here is a list but there are some things missing like canned fish (in

oil or water) and that turnip is " iffy " - depending on what stage you

are at in your recovery. But you could use it as a base list with

your own notes written to one side.
