Does anybody know how my son can have loose stools all the time and be

at the top of the growth chart in height and weight? He is almost

five, he is 50 lbs. and off the charts for height. If he has chronic

diarrhea, how can he continue to thrive? He has had loose stools for

about 2 1/2 years now. We have been gfcf for a year, and about to

start SCD.

I don't know the answer but I have been wondering the same thing. My

son is 2.5 and 99% in height and weight even when he was having 8-10

diarrhea BM's per day???

Could a body actually digest yeast and thrive off of that???

Before SCD my son at mostly carbs (bread, milk, rice and pasta.) But

whould have whole pieces come out. Could the carbs have fed the

yeast which then fed my son???

He does not have D anymore and eats much, much less than before.

Maybe he was just eating a ton of food so that he could absorb the

nutrients that he needed??

Just thinking out loud.

mother of Caden 2.5 years, scd since 2/05 for intestinal yeast

and Emmalynn 10.5 months mostly SCD
