The apple concentrate is " iffy " . Is this a dried fruit type of bar?

If yes, then it would probably only be for those fairly advanced if it

is indeed legal. I think you were still having loose stools(?) or

unformed bms, if yes then dried fruit would be too concentrated and

these bars wouldn't be appropriate .

Hi Sheila…thanks for your response. You're right, we don't have the formed

stools yet, so I won't chance it. It is like a dried fruit type bar, thick like

the

filling of a fig newton.

If anyone does find out that it is posiitively SCD legal, please let me know.

I'll keep it in mind for furture snacks.

I checked with both Gorge Delights & the orchard from which the

company gets the fruit concentrates, and I was assured by the people

who actually make the fruit concentrates that there is NOTHING but

apples & pears (depending on what flavor bar) in them. My son is

very sensitive, and he has done well with the bars (we especially

like the pear & cranberry bars) for the last several months. We're

about 10 mos into SCD, FYI.

Sheila, the listed ingredients are fruit concentrates and fruit purees.
