Guest guest
Can anyone tell me, which other oils - besides olive oil - are acceptable on the SCD diet? Also - is anyone using pure pumpkin from a can with no addatives for their pumpkin recipes? Thanks so much. SCDBOB Daughter u.c.

Guest guest
In BTVC, olive oil and butter (esp. cultured butter) are listed as " highly recommended " . I've seen canola oil recommended on this list but Elaine did NOT like it: http://www.breakingtheviciouscycle.info/knowledge_base/kb/canola_oil.ht m More about fats here, including an interesting article, " The Great Con- ola " http://www.westonaprice.org/knowyourfats/index.html The traditional fats are the healthiest.
