What to feed when ill

I thought I read this as a heading a day or two ago " what to

feed when ill " , but have looked all through the website and

can't find it. Did I imagine it or can someone point me to

the link? Thanks.

I haven't seen that heading on any of the major SCD lists recently.

If ill you can go back to a basic diet. If really ill then the intro diet is

good to have since it is easy to digest and will keep the body fed and with

enough fluids. How is your daughter doing now?

Dear Rhonda:

Depending on what your child has as Sheila says the intro diet is great, lots of

chicken soup. If the child has a stuffy or runny nose, you may want to avoid

dairy. Dairy produces mucous and its not good when you have diarrhea. For a

running or stuffed nose, humidifiers really help. Good Luck! Eileen Brown
