Guest guest
I thought I read this as a heading a day or two ago " what to feed when ill " , but have looked all through the website and can't find it. Did I imagine it or can someone point me to the link? Thanks. Rhonda Daughter, UC, SCD 3 yrs

Did I imagine it or can someone point me to the link? Thanks. I haven't seen that heading on any of the major SCD lists recently. If ill you can go back to a basic diet. If really ill then the intro diet is good to have since it is easy to digest and will keep the body fed and with enough fluids. How is your daughter doing now? Guest guest
Dear Rhonda: Depending on what your child has as Sheila says the intro diet is great, lots of chicken soup. If the child has a stuffy or runny nose, you may want to avoid dairy. Dairy produces mucous and its not good when you have diarrhea. For a running or stuffed nose, humidifiers really help. Good Luck!
